Firstly I think it is essential to set the scene so you are all aware of the type of skin I am working with. My skin is now normal ish with some oiliness around the T-Zone when I am wearing makeup. However, in my teenage years I did suffer with acne prone skin, therefore I still suffer with scaring and the odd hormonal breakout.
So, in the morning I like to keep it pretty simple, I use a small amount of the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleaning Balm which I always wipe away using a muslin cloth/flannel. I always like to use a few sprays of the La Roche-Posay serozinc toner because it is really refreshing, especially in the mornings, I then follow this with a small amount of my Eucerin moisturiser and we are good to go!
In the evenings I like to layer on the product a little more because I know I can leave it to sink into my skin over night and I don't have to worry about looking too greasy!
The first thing I do in the evenings is to go in again with the Emma Hardie Balm which is amazing for breaking down all of my makeup and leaves the skin feeling very clean but never dry or tight. Next I like to use the Serozinc toner again because it is good for acne prone skin and helps to keep the skin feeling cleansed. Every other night I like to use the Alpha-H liquid gold which is an exfoliating toner and so it is amazing for giving your skin that lovely glow come morning time! You can leave it here with the routine if you like as the Liquid gold advises that if you want an intense treatment you should not follow it with any more products. However I typically go in with a serum type product, alternating between the Estee Lauder advanced night repair or the La Roche-Posay effacer Duo if I am feeling a bit spotty!
I have stayed loyal to this routine for quite a while now as it seems to be working quite well for me!
Please be sure to let me know if you have any recommendations for a moisturiser that would be good for sensitive skin as I am on the market for a new one.
